Report <\/b>On\u00a0 <\/b>Celebration of Navli Navratri <\/b>And <\/b>Garba Competition<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Sir V.D.T. Girls\u2019 High School (S.F.), Vanita Vishram celebrated Navratri with full vigour, zest and zeal on October 21st, 2023, Saturday in the shade near Basket ball ground from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This event and festival was well coordinated by the cultural coordinators, Hinal Gandhi, Bhumika Majmudar, Sweta Patel and Krupesh Naik.<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration started by offering prayer to Goddess Durga and then by initiation of Aarti by Secretary of Surat Administrative Committee, Vanita Vishram Shree Manharbhai Desai\u00a0 along with Dr.Jigisha Parekh, Principal mam, Sir V.D.T. Girls\u2019 High School (S.F.), Vanita Vishram followed by all the staff members and students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was well attended by the enthusiastic students and staff in traditional grooming. All of them celebrated the day with cheer and joy.The positivity and energy exuberating out of the colorful costumes combined with the enthusiasm of dancing to the folk songs made the entire day extremely successful and fruitful. The navratri event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest along with the discipline of students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Navratri Celebration cum Garba Competition was conducted in which the students were dressed in vibrant traditional costumes and jewelry. They showcased their talents by forming groups and performing garba. The winners were announced based on the following three categories.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Best Action<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Best Costume\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Overall performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Approximately 450 students participated in the competition .<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Event was judged by Shri Preksha Desai, Shri Neepa Naik and Shri Ankita Patel.<\/span><\/p>\n

    All the judges encouraged the students and Shree Ankita Patel gave valuable tips to the students and shared her views and experiences to become outstanding performers in different categories.<\/span><\/p>\n

    For 1st position, Best Action Tandel Dinky, Best Costume Revdiwala Angel and Overall Performance Joshi Hellery Prabhulal was selected along with other students. List is attached here with.<\/span><\/p>\n
